It seems BoA has finally made her claim on the name, after tweeting on January 23rd "Wanna change my twitter Account as "boakwon", but it's been already taken... Hmm.. Who's using this... Can we exchange?! Lol. I tried to change...It said Username has already been taken...@boakwon WHO ARE YOU?????????"

According to an update on January 10th on BoA's Official Japanese website, BoA is set to release her annual Christmas concert on March 7th, 2012. The DVD, tentatively titled "BoA THE LIVE 2011 'X'mas' ～The 10th Anniversary Edition～" will include performance of her latest DVD single release, "Milestone," as well as stages of her old Japanese hits like "VALENTI."

The touching scene of BoA performing "Meri Kuri" is also included. On December 11th, 2011, BoA had to perform "Meri Kuri" twice after choking up with tears the first time around. Knowing that the performance would be included in the DVD release, she returned to the stage and explained to her fans that she would be performing the song once again for the DVD (see video below).

The "BoA THE LIVE 2011 'X'mas' ～The 10th Anniversary Edition～" DVD has a total of 100 minutes of BoA-filled performances!

In other news, BoA returned to Toronto, Canada, on January 10th to re-shooting scenes for her upcoming dance flick with Derek Hough, "COBU 3D."

On January 5th, Fly To The Sky's Brian Joo revealed a group photo of himself along with his former agency's CEO, Lee Sooman, having a last minute get together. BoA, Super Junior's Siwon, TRAX's Jungmo, and TVXQ's Changmin can also be seen in the group photo. What is most eye catching about the photo is BoA and Lee Sooman hugging affectionately, which shows off their close relationship.

BoA was accepted into SM Entertainment, and after 2 years of training, made her debut with "ID Peace; B" in 2000. She recently celebrated her 10th anniversary in Japan and her 10th anniversary in South Korea in 2010.

Another photo was uploaded by Super Junior's Siwon on the 4th sans Brian and Changmin, but does include Super Junior's Heechul, who entered the military a few months ago.

On January 2, 2012, BoA shared her New Year's resolution with her fans via her Twitter account and posted, "What's your new year's resolution? Mine is..... I wanna fall in love with a great guy.. Ha ha (; happy 2012 again, let's make a great one!"

Fans replied to her Twitter posting with encouragement and said, "That might not be easy being so famous, but best of luck! Don't rush it! I'm just gonna try to eat less sugar," "Look outside yr door... There must b a queue by now ... Don't b too picky ... Keke!!!" "Yes! :) go and fall in love with a great guy and find your happiness! All the best for 2012!" and "Sounds like a good resolution to me."

BoA made her debut into the music industry in 2000 with "ID; Peace B" and rose into one of the most prominent female soloist in South Korea. In August 2010, BoA celebrated her 10th year anniversary.

SMTOWN's "The Warmest Gift" debuts in 1st place on Gaon weekly chart
SMTOWN released its 1st family winter album in 2 years last week on December 13th, just in time for the holidays. SM Entertainment artists that contributed to the album included Kangta, BoA, TRAX, TVXQ, Super Junior with Henry and Zhoumi, CSJH Dana&Sunady, Zhang Liyin, Girls' Generation, SHINee, f(x), and J-Min. The album became a hit among SM artist fans and this is reflected in this week's Gaon Album Chart as "The Warmest Gift" makes its debut in 1st place, and is followed by male group BoyFriend's 3rd single "I'll Be There" and Yim Jaebum's special album "Free" respectively.

The individual tracks on found on SMTOWN's "The Warmest Gift" did not rank as high as the album itself on the weekly Gaon Single Chart, with Girls' Generation's "Diamond" ranking in 52nd place, Super Junior's "Santa You Are The One" with Henry and Zhoumi in 64th place, f(x)'s "1,2,3" in 106th place, SHINee's "Last Christmas" in 127th place, BoA's "Distance" in 131st place, and TVXQ's "Sleigh Ride" in 162nd place.

In other news, A-Nation's "for Life Best HIT Live" be aired online (http://live.nicovide...atch/lv74534336) on December 23rd at 11PM local time and users must log in to watch. The DVD for A-Nation's "for Life Best HIT Live" was released a few days ago on December 21st. BoA's performance of "Bump Bump!" and "Quincy" is included in the setlist.

On December 7th, BoA released her 1st DVD single "Milestone" to commemorate her 10th anniversary in Japan, and debuted in 4th place on the Oricon Music DVD daily chart. "Milestone" stayed in the Top 10 rankings from December 6th through December 11th, which gained her 4th place on the Weekly chart.

For the daily ranking of 12/13, "Milestone," however, can no longer be found in the Top 20 as a result of many new releases, which includes concert DVD releases from Korean artists Big Bang (3rd place) and labelmate Girls' Generation (2nd place).

Kyosuke Himuro's concert DVD debuts on the daily music chart in 1st place, followed by Girls' Generation's "Japan First Tour Girls' Generation" debuting in 2nd place, and "Big Bang Presents Love & Hope Tour 2011" debuting in 3rd place.

Meanwhile, SMTOWN has just released their latest family album sung completely in English titled "The Warmest Gift," which includes BoA's solo song "Distance."

BoAjjang Contest #33 will involve some BoA songs, a little bit of imagination, and doing what you guys do every day here on the forum, writing. In this contest, we want BoAjjang members to use BoA song titles to write your very own story or poem. It can involve yourself, family, friends, and even BoA. It can be about real life, fantasy, made up worlds, the sky is the limit! Show us your creativity!

There is a 10 song title minimum. Entries must have no less than 10 BoA song titles used in the short story/poem. The songs do NOT need to be from the same album/single or language. You can use Japanese, Korean, and English song titles together.

"But what does the winner get?" you might ask...how about a SIGNED copy of BoA's repackaged 6th Korean album, "Copy & Paste"?

BoA's 1st DVD single "Milestone" ranks in Oricon's Top 10 Music DVD Chart
On December 7th, BoA made her long-awaited comeback to Japan and released her 1st DVD single "Milestone" in celebration of her 10th anniversary. The title single "Milestone" had already received high praises from fans after it made its initial debut on Japanese J-WAVE radio "Paradiso."

As it is a DVD single, BoA's "Milestone" was ranked under music DVD on the Oricon chart and made its debut in 4th place. In 1st place was SMAP's "Thanks For Beijing!!", with Kana Nishino's "Kanayan Tour 2011 ~Summer~" in 2nd place, and Yusuke Kamiji's "あれっ・・ぐうぜんですケド。" in 3rd place.

"Milestone" dropped to 5th place on the 2nd day and 7th on the 3rd day. Despite the drop, BoA remains in the Top 10 of the music DVD daily chart.
