It's been about a year since BoA started and finished filming her debut Hollywood film, "COBU 3D" which is directed by Duane Adler, who directed the popular dance films within the "Step Up" franchise.

The film is another dance flick where BoA plays the character of Aya, who is Korean but was brought up in Japan and followed her brother to New York and becomes the leader of a cobu-dance group. Cobu is a combination of Japanese traditional Taiko drumming and tap dancing. The film is also set to be, Dancing with the Stars professional dancer, Derek Hough's Hollywood debut film.

After months of waiting, Adler announced on Monday that the film is finished and fans should "Stand by for some news hopefully before end of June!" After a number of unofficial dates "announced" within the COBU 3D fandom, are we finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel? Let's hope so.

Coming off of that news, after talk of a 2012 comeback for BoA, a SM Entertainment representative stated that “It is planned that an album will be released along with her movie as well.“ So it looks like BoA will be having a fall comeback and a fall movie debut. Sounds like a busy schedule for our BoA.

BoA has made her appearance on her first talk show since her debut in 2000, "Seung Seung Jangu (Win Win)." Since her debut as an artist, BoA has not appeared on any talk shows, but has been scheduled to appear on KBS 2TV's "Win Win" this mid-May and is expected to reveal her thoughts for the first time on a talk show.

She made her debut when she was only 13-years old, and soon, found success as a female solo singer in both South Korea and Japan. Since then, she has pursued activities in the United States as well with the release of her first self-titled album.

Her candid stories during her time as an artist will be of particular interest during the show.

Meanwhile, BoA made her first appearance on the SBS variety show, "Running Man."

On April 26th, Mnet held their Japan concert for "M! Countdown" titled, "M! Countdown One Asian Hello Japan," and featured top idols such as 4minute, MBLAQ, FTISLAND, miss A, U-KISS, Secret, SISTAR, Tiger JK, Yoon Mirae, Dynamic Duo, Supernova, John Park, A Pink, J Soul Brothers, E-Girls, and Busker Busker.

Last night's performance also had special stages called, "Korean Wave History," to which Korean artists who have succeeded in Japan such as TVXQ, BoA, and KARA, had their songs covered by present idols. TVXQ's "Rising Sun" was covered by idol group MBLAQ, while A Pink covered KARA's "Mister."

SISTAR's power vocalist, Hyorin, took on her special stage alone and gave a powerful performance of BoA's hit track, "Listen To My Heart." Hyorin's husky voice gives a new spin on BoA's track.

Planning for the production of Season 2 of SBS audition program, "K-Pop Star" has begun.

According to an SBS official on March 30th, the "Survival audition 'K-Pop Star' Season 2" will have its first episode broadcasting in November. He adds that "the representative judges for SM, JYP, and YG's BoA, Park Jinyoung (JYP), and Yang Hyunsuk will also be maintained."

"The three judges have built success on Season 1, and are showing motivation to produce an an upgraded Season 2. Season 2 of 'K-Pop Star' will continue to maintain its unique, stylish, and high-quality show to become one of the best programs of South Korea."

Currently, "K-Pop Star" is live broadcasting and has 6 contestants remaining. Season 1 began airing last December and has uncovered a large amount of unknown talents since then. The probing of each of the 3 judges have shown a completely different evaluation of participants from other audition programs. Performers have even sung hit topping tracks that have proven popular among viewers as well.

Winner of "K-Pop Star" will have the chance to sign immediately with one of South Korea's Top 3 agencies, SM, YG, and JYP.

The first episode of "K-Pop Star" Season 2 will begin airing in November. The show will continue accepting applicants until mid-May.

Female soloist BoA continues to stun in yet another fashion magazine pictorial with her latest sets for Marie Claire Korea.

Since her participation on the audition show, SBS "K-Pop Star" as one of the judges, BoA has been making what many are calling BoA's "2nd Golden Age," BoA has been making many magazine pictorials appearance, and has even participated in her first variety show on SBS "Running Man" since her debut in Korea 11 years ago.

She also recently released a single for SBS "K-Pop Star" that featured Super Junior-M's Henry and SHINee's Key titled "One Dream."

In BoA's recent Marie Claire photoshoot, she portrays a feminine and mature charm, while still looking very charismatic. The unique colors of her outfits, which are highly contrasted by her accessories, gives the impression of a professional model.

BoA's appearance in her first Korean variety show since her debut in 2000 is being highly anticipated by fans both in Korea and internationally. Asia's star is set to make an appearance on a special SBS "Running Man" episode called "Music Fairy Special."

A fan who was able to catch the "Running Man" cast in action shared several photos of both the regular cast and BoA.

In one photo, BoA can be seen with a cute expression on her face with lips pursed together, looking down, and wearing an orange jacket. With his back turned from the camera, Leessang's Gary can be seen towering behind her.

In another photo, BoA can be seen enjoying herself as the "Running Man" cast is running towards an unknown location. Part of her body and face is hidden behind the seemingly tall MC, Yoo Jaesuk. A third photo shows BoA smiling as she seems to look towards singer Kim Jonggook and his partner and "Running Man" guest, Jung Jaehyung.

According to the photos, it seems that the divided groups of "Running Man" must complete a mission inside the Jeju-do Davinci Museum and collect small black safes.

BoA has been busy with her role as the SBS "K-Pop Star" judge, and was recently seen participating in the popular SBS variety show, "Running Man," when a photo of both her and the group was published on a community board online a few days ago.

On March 6th, BoA posted on her Twitter account, "Yoo-nim (Yoo Jaesuk) took this photo.. I've been running around since this morning, and I ran in the rain yesterday.. The long and tough walls of variety [as in variety shows are tough and long to film].. Everyone has worked hard..^^ My bones hurt," and posted a photo alongside the text.

On March 5th, BoA was spotted recording for "Running Man" alongside Yoo Jaesuk on Jeju Island. In the photo, BoA can be seen wearing gray sweatpants over a big black coat, with her body at an angle as she poses with a peace sign chromatically.

BoA will appear on the 87th episode of "Running Man" set to air on March 25th.

In other news, Avex has released a short video of BoA's live performance of "Milestone" from her 10th Anniversary "The LIVE X'Mas" concert held last December. BoA is set to release the DVD of her Christmas concert later this month.

The internet has been alive with talk of BoA potentially getting spotted in Jeju do Island filming the popular Korean variety show, "Running Man." The only real evidence was one picture showing the back of someones bright orange jacket that read "Bo-ah" in Korean with a SBS camera crew filming that persons every move. With no face shown in the image, netizens waited for confirmation but not without showing much excitement that BoA could be participating in Korean variety shows.

Thankfully, SBS's official "Running Man" twitter tweeted some details of the episode in question:


"Running Man" is an urban action variety show where both the MCs and guests must complete an array of missions either alone, in pairs, or as a group to win. This will be the first Korean variety show that BoA has participated in since her debut. It seems that, almost, 12 years is the charm. Stay tuned for more information about the upcoming episode.

Comeback confirmed for BoA!...in Japan, Korea, or the US??? Korean website, Nate, posted an interview with SM Entertainment representatives stating that BoA has been preparing for promotions for not only her debut Hollywood movie, COBU 3D, but also for an album. But is it really safe to say that this will be a Korean album? Or could this go along with her US movie and be an English album? And what about her Japanese anniversary? Many fans are abuzz with the news and are waiting eagerly to hear clarification. The rep was quoted saying that with BoA being involved with "Kpop Star" there as been a "rediscovery of BoA" amongst Kpop fans.
No matter where the promotions are headed, it seems like 2012 will be a busy year for BoA. Not only with her being involved as a judge on "Kpop Star" but also promoting her movie and album.
